The simple terms for using the Rattel Academy website, booking a free class, and learning with us.

Welcome to Rattel Academy. These Terms of Use explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use this website and our lessons. By booking a class or contacting us, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. About us and scope

Rattel Academy provides online, one-to-one lessons in Quran recitation, Tajweed, Arabic language and Islamic studies, taught by certified Egyptian teachers. These terms apply to your use of this website and to booking a class through it. If you continue as a paying student, any specific lesson or subscription arrangements are agreed with you separately (see below).

2. Your free first class

We offer a free first class so you can meet a certified teacher and find your level before deciding to continue. To book it, you complete the registration form and we contact you — usually on WhatsApp — to agree a time. The free class carries no obligation to continue, and no payment or card details are needed to book it.

3. Lessons and payment are arranged separately

This website is for information and for booking your free class. Ongoing lessons, packages and any payment are arranged directly between you and Rattel Academy after your free class — for example over WhatsApp or email. Prices shown on our pricing page are a guide; the details that apply to you are the ones we confirm with you when you subscribe.

4. Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Each monthly plan includes a set number of reschedules per month, provided you give us at least 3 hours’ notice before the class:

  • Silver — reschedule once (1×) per month.
  • Gold — reschedule twice (2×) per month.
  • Platinum — reschedule three times (3×) per month.
  • Elite — reschedule four times (4×) per month.

A class missed without at least 3 hours’ notice, or beyond your plan’s monthly allowance, may count as a used class. You can also freeze your subscription for up to two weeks without losing classes, as described on our pricing page.

5. Acceptable conduct

Rattel Academy is a respectful place of learning. When using our website and attending lessons, we ask that you:

  • Treat teachers, staff and other learners with courtesy and respect.
  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep your contact details up to date.
  • Attend booked classes on time, or reschedule with proper notice.
  • Do not record, copy or share a lesson or its materials without our permission.
  • Do not misuse the website or attempt to disrupt it.

We may decline or end lessons if this conduct is not respected.

6. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, design, logos, the Rattel Academy name, and our lesson materials — belongs to Rattel Academy or is used with permission. You may view it for your personal learning, but you may not copy, republish, sell or distribute it without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

We work hard to teach with care and to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. Learning outcomes depend on many factors, including a student’s effort and attendance, and we cannot guarantee a specific result. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your internet connection or by third-party services (such as video-call or messaging tools) outside our control.

8. Third-party links and services

Our site and lessons may rely on third-party services such as WhatsApp and video-calling tools. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our website or lessons after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Our approach to disputes

If something is not right, please talk to us first — most issues are solved quickly and kindly with a message. We deal with concerns fairly and in good faith, and we will always try to reach a reasonable outcome together.
